simple prayers
Building
my relationship with God/Spirit through prayer, I have been able to
build a clear pathway to receive my own guidance, heal myself, and
create a better everyday life. There are no limits to the areas of life
I have received guidance. I am truly grateful.
Praying
has been a powerful way of building my relationship with God.
I
have found it to be a multi step process as well as it being a major
component to both the creative and healing processes.
Part
of the learning and teaching I received from God through meditation was
to first be very clear on your desire(s). We have the opportunity
throughout our lives to create all our desires. This seems so simple,
but I know many who do not believe this to be true. I also know that I
did not always know this simple truth.
After
a desire has become clear, I would continue to visualize or even
daydream about it. When shopping for the motor home, I would imagine
what it would be like to have one, drive one and see the United States
in one. I would keep the brochures by the bed and look at them just
before I went to sleep and then sometimes dream about it.
Now
that the desire is clear, it is necessary to get some belief or faith
that you can actually have that desire. Therefore working on the mind
becomes important as we often have negative thoughts and “voices” that
would tell us we can’t have. This is simply a limited belief that can
keep us from our biggest dreams. A constant monitoring of thought
becomes necessary to keep in correct alignment with our desire.
During this
creative process, letting God know what your desire is comes first,
but then we must ask what is needed to assist in the fruition of the
desire. So listening to God/Spirit is just as important to talking to
God. I have found the journal to be my most powerful tool. I will
write down what is happening in life at that moment and then ask God
for the wisdom about that subject or issue. I wait for the wisdom to
come and then write it down also. I have received clarification on so
many issues through this process.
Realizing
that most of what keeps us from our dreams and desires are our limited
beliefs, I began praying and speaking with God throughout the day to
keep the lines of communication open at all times. This ensured me that
the greatest wisdom is available to me at all times.

Notice
the word choices. Show me allows the doors to open to what is needed for
the creation. The word how is also a door
opening
choice of words. Questions can also open the doors to all the
possibilities that we do not know. People will often hear me say, “I
know nothing.” This allows God to show me more. There is one important
concept to get really clear on when working with God. We, as humans are
limited and do not know everything. Knowing that simple truth and
humbling ourselves allows God to give us what we need and quite often
much more than we even desired. Even the most educated and trained
professionals can realize that there is so much more than what they
believe they know. If we stay focused on only what is in our rational
minds there allows little room for the greatest miracles and
possibilities to be shown to us, therefore our wording must assist us to
open the mind and gateway to all of what God may have in store for us.
Keep
monitoring the mind and living in “All God’s possibilities.” |
