healing STORIES

Over the years there have been so many wonderful healing breakthroughs both in my massage practice and in my medium/message sessions. I have worked with HIV, cancer and MS patients and I have witnessed some wonderful moments of healing. I should mention that healing does not always mean you will survive an illness; sometimes healing prepares you to leave. Up until the last breath something may be learned, healed or let go of and more peace achieved. I believe inner peace is the ultimate goal of our spirit, especially as we transition from this life. 

One of my favorite healing stories is of a man who came to me with severe sciatic pain in both legs. Upon arrival he explained he had had sciatic pain for twelve years and did not know what to do. I instructed him to the massage table and began praying in my mind and asking God for guidance to what areas of the body needed attention. The session seemed short and to the point. I did not work on his entire body, but stopped when I felt it was time to stop. He told me he felt much better and that he would call me in a day or so to make another appointment. He paid me and left. 

The next day he called to make another appointment and I asked him how he felt. He explained he had no pain. I asked him why he needed another appointment? He said he wanted to make sure it was gone. I explained maybe he should thank God for his miracle and told him he did not need to come back unless he had another problem.
