more healing stories ~ fear and grief

Through the massage healing part of my career, I have had the opportunity to learn what true healing involves. The process goes a lot deeper than most of us would want to believe. The key is to learn what is behind the dis-ease. There is always something going on inside ourselves that is critically connected to our health. If we can find out the emotional link or untrue thought, we can heal anything!

If you read Sugar's story, you can observe that she had some major revelations of her own thought and emotional processes. Although quite aware, she remained fixed in these emotions until her passing. My goal is to always "get it" before the major onset of illness. I believe through constant monitoring, we are able to clear many issues before they become physical problems. Remember our body is the last stop for our troubled emotions and thoughts. 

I had the opportunity to work with HIV patients under the Ryan White grant. The pay was cheap, but the learning was priceless. 

One of my patients had recently lost his mom to lung cancer. She had smoked for many, many years and he too was a smoker. During one session he complained of a deep pain in the middle of his back. Through the session, two emotions were brought to the service. The first was fear. He carried a fear that he would die the same way his mom did. The second was grief. He didn't realize that he still had the pain of loss and that it was deposited in his back. Through a process of breathing and my manipulation of the area of the back, the pain was released. He had not been aware of the power of emotions up until that point. He was in shock and awe that the pain was completely gone. He came in that day believing he had cancer.
